OnScene.com protects the privacy of its visitors and members. Email addresses, IP addresses and addresses on correspondence with OnScene management are treated as confidential material. The only exception to this privacy policy is for cooperation with civil and criminal law enforcement authorities.
OnScene.com does not sell or trade any information about its visitors or members.
Solicitation
OnScene.com does not "spam" its visitors or members. Notifications or communications with members pertain to the content submitted to OnScene.com.
Content Ratings
OnScene.com editorial staff rates every content item with regard to its suitability for access by a general audience that may include children. Content that the editorial staff deems excessively violent, profane, or sexually explicit shall be rejected.
Copyrights
OnScene.com obeys the copyright laws of the USA and international copyright laws. Members who submit content may be required to prove their ownership or proper license to the content they submitted. OnScene.com management may remove content from the site at any time without notice should the ownership or license status of such content become questionable. Content submitted to OnScene.com found to violate any copyright law shall be removed from the site by OnScene.com management. Members can use the graphical "Challenge" button associated with any item of content on the site to initiate an editorial review of the copyright status of that content.
Licensing
OnScene.com shall act as the broker for licensing of content on the site per the terms disclosed in the Membership Agreement.
Limited Liability
OnScene.com shall in no case be held liable for any damages to any site visitor or member as a consequence of that person or any other person's access to OnScene.com and its content.
